2010 Northumbria Police Manhunt Ends As Raoul Moat Shoots Himself – Gazza Claims Police Tipped Him Off
The 2010 Northumbria Police Manhunt ended after Raoul Moat reportedly killed himself after a brief standoff with the police. Moat was involved in the killing of Brown and seriously injuring two others – his ex-girlfriend and a police officer.
Moat had apparently been using a pipe network as his hideout however the police was successfully able to contain him after tracking him up. A construction work claimed that Raoul Moat could have escaped through the pipes.
English professional football player – Paul Gascoigne (Gazza) claimed that he was a good friend of Raoul Moat and could have made Raoul to give up however was not allowed by the Police to go anywhere near him. He claims that the police forced Raoul over the edge with its Snipers.
Raoul Moat’s friends and relatives left tributes to him after his death, some of which were left unsigned.
