This sounds great news, previously mobile operators in the United Kingdom were claiming to provide with Unlimited Mobile Broadband which was restricted to less than 1GB of use. But now it seems that consumers have got hold of this scam of late. I am not really sure why Britain ever allowed to run such scams to exist where the mobile operators were allowed a limit of less than a Gigabyte.
However things are going to change sooner as mobile operators like Three have started making changes in their policy. In case you are a three user you might have got a notification regarding the change in terms already.
From now on Mobile Operators will be showed exact limits and removing the “Unlimited” label. They will be doing this for calls and texts. What? They were claiming limited number of calls as unlimited too? That’s a scam again. However networks like Three are resolving this issue now.
At the current moment, Limited Mobile broadband is still quite expensive comparing that it will cost the user almost same amount to get a wired internet at his place that is faster and has more limits.
