In a press release issued by the Government, the film “Dr Lim Hock Siew” will be banned with effect from Jul 14 2010 because of being against public interest. Hefty fines have been set in place or even imprisonment in case someone is found possessing and distributing the film. The film has also been barred a certificate for its exhibition.

Even though there has been a country wide ban – it is quite possible that the movie will be released outside and also without any doubt available on the internet. The ban might also raise questions on freedom of speech in the country.

It is quite possible that the movie have been released under another name since according to press release, the film gives distorted and misleading portrayal of Dr Lim’s arrests and detention.

I believe that there might be some other reasons not mention in the press release that called out for a ban.

China shut down its Xiaoshan Airport for an hour after Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) were reported in theZhejiang Province. The Airport authorities stopped the passengers from boarding plans and flights had to be grounded.

The sun has even got pictures of the UFO Sightings. In the image, the UFO can be seen as some kind of flying bus however in the video provided by The Sun, it seems more like a fireball. The picture and the video do not match at all.

Dozens of flights had to be diverted because of the issue. It has been suggested that the sighting was debris from a US Intercontinental ballistic missile by Chinese experts.

China officials said that the object had been identified but were unable to make it public because of military connections.

I just randomly noticed a story photo album of Anna Chapman and her ex husband that had been posted on Telegraph. Am not sure if those pictures and her whole album really made any sense regarding her involvement in the Russian spy ring. Pictures of not only her but her relatives have been uploaded which could possibly mean that they are now vulnerable to attack from people who might be upset, angry with Russian spying.

Apart from that her whole photo album does not really make sense. Especially the picture with her covering her breasts, something I believe Telegraph has placed on its website in order to generate more visitors on their website.

Interestingly telegraph has placed its copyrights on each and every picture which means I would not prefer to use them on this website. I believe that the person who gave the pictures to Telegraph got paid since otherwise Telegraph won’t hold copyrights would they?

Am not so sure what were the motives of Telegraph reporting such stuff as news. Maybe they themselves can give a good explanation.

Even though Abby Sunderland’s solo journey across the world ended up in failure (she had to be rescued), she ended up gaining more attention from the public than anyone who has tried to complete the journey across the world. The current record is being held by Jessica Watson for being to youngest to solo circumnavigate across the world.

The charts from Google Trends suggest that even though little was in talked about Abby Sunderland through her journey, her name became known across the world after the disaster. Abby Sunderland has got herself recorded in the history even though she didn’t completed her journey.

The conclusion would be that sometimes failure can lead to success. In this case – Abby Sunderland failed to complete her journey however she ended up being recognized across the world than even Jessica Watson who completed her journey. World is not always about winning I guess.
